Skyrim Live Another Life Best Start
The previous character playthrough I did, it was with Alternate Start and I too chose the Whiterun beginning and owning Breezehome. I felt it fit in with my character who was going to dominate the land with his accomplishments and he was a typical Nord, so I felt Whiterun was the most appropriate.My most recent build is a Breton girl who gets stranded along the shores of Lake Ilinalta, after being poisoned the night before, and she wakes up after a 'near-death' the night before in a fisherwoman's camp on the edge of the lake. I used Skyrim Unbound this time around because the ability to choose starting equipment and things gave me more control over what I wanted to do with this character. Nice backstory with your Breton:). I have currently chosen all the options. I just got skyrim on steam a few months back but have played skyrim since it came out till now. So i've done pretty much everything. Alternate start is one of my most favorite mods because it not only allows me to skip the intro, which I have grown to hate over the years, and yet still leave it as an option should I choose to roleplay my character in that fashion.These are my favorites:Camping - I enjoy playing as someone camping in the woods, it makes it seem like I am a poacher like the many hunters in the area killing the Jarl's deer.

When I get bored I will say my camping trip is over and hopefully by then it's been a few days and I have lots of meat that I've caught for not only food, but to sell in market to the meat vendor.Player Home - I generally will choose Breezehome or Honeyside as they aren't super lavish. I have picked other houses in the past when playing a well to do Nord, but generally if I pick the own property selection it will be one of these two. If picking Breezehome I will stick to Companion questline and the main questline in combination because they work well together. If in Riften I will generally become a fisherman, a thief, or a traveling merchant based out of Riften. If playing the traveling merchant, I will travel till my inventory is getting full and then return along a different path. Once in Riften I will sell all my goods, this includes alchemical supplies for their cost.
I focus on speechcraft and getting the best deal for my money. I will wear equipment that boosts speechcraft and such. I will generally play an unarmored person when doing this as I don't want to wear armors that have been bloodied by me recently. I figure the fact that the people are offering my so little money for my gear I sell is because there are sword holes through it that they have to repair.Anyways, that's a glimpse into how I use this mod.
