Your incarnate can heal, deal solid damage, and soak enemy damage. The summoning school also gets you Rallying Cry (powerful heal + magic armor restore) and Soul Mate.

With Soul Mate you can do neat tricks like double the healing a target receives from Healing Ritual or restore a huge chunk of armor with Shields Up. A 'healer/support' in this game really breaks conventional RPG wisdom and is very much an all rounder in skill allocations. My healer makes my party almost immortal, and her character sheet looks like a total dogs breakfast at first glance.She's got most of her points into Hydro, that's a given because of the amount of healing spells they have deep in the hydro tree. She's got most points into int, with a couple into wits and the rest into memory. She has a lot going on with her bars.Early in game, I got her a couple of points into summoning.

You need hydro for healing the party. Hydro is the only class with classic “healing” spells.Undead are damaged by healing but are healed by poison, so if you have an undead character you would need geo as well. Geo does not stack as well with hydro though, so you might want the wizard to heal the undead character.Necromancy is great for healing yourself, much more effective than hydro and even works for undead characters but you can only heal yourself.Summoning has a healing spell, as does huntsman, which are useful for offhealing but not dependable.

Dismissing Companions in Divinity: Original Sin 2In Divinity: Original Sin 2, you’re only allowed to travel with a total of four characters at any given time, and this includes the player character. This can be a bit of a headache, as you might come across other characters in the world that you might want to recruit to your party. Thankfully, there is a way you can make space in your party for potential recruits.

However, you’ll need to dismiss an existing companion in order to do so.To do this, use your player character to talk with the companion you want to dismiss. This will bring up a few dialogue options related to the story. The option at the very bottom should allow you to tell the companion that you wish to part ways with them. If you don’t plan on recruiting them back into your party anytime soon, remember to take away their items and equipment so that you can allocate those resources to someone else.
